Internet Explorer in Windows 10

Last Updated: Dec 28, 2016 05:52PM EST

With the upgrade to Windows 10, Microsoft has built a brand new web browser named Microsoft Edge. It is meant to be a light and fast browser, but unfortunately it does not support third party plugins, so Unity Web Player will not install on it. In Windows 10, Microsoft Edge is set as the default web browser, but Internet Explorer is still installed on your computer so you can still run Shadow Health.

There are two ways to access Internet Explorer. The first is through Microsoft Edge.

  1. Once you open Microsoft Edge, click on the Menu button, which looks like three dots in the upper right corner of the window (underneath the X to close the window).

  2. In the menu that appears, click “Open with Internet Explorer”. This will open the page you are currently on using Internet Explorer, where you can navigate as you usually would with Internet Explorer.

The second way to open Internet Explorer is using the Search feature.

  1. At the bottom of your screen, in the taskbar, you should see a box that says "Ask me anything". Clicking on that will allow you to type.Image of Windows 10's Search box
  2. Type in "Internet Explorer" (without the quotation marks), and at the top of the pop up you will see a button to open Internet Explorer. From there, you can navigate to Shadow Health as normal.
